John Leggio's Center for the Performing Arts is unique in the "Normal Dance School Experience,"
for many reasons. We are not just a dance school, we are a well-rounded Performing Arts School, giving equal weight to Singing, Dancing, Acting, and Acrobatics.
Whether you are a recreational dancer or interested in a more serious professional approach to the arts, you have found your home. We treat all of our classes with the same attention to detail and professionalism. We also have a whole lot of fun! Ages 3 to Adult.
For those who love the street style of Hip Hop or other forms of dance- Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Pointe, Broadway Theatre Jazz, that are seen on dance shows such as "So You Think You Can Dance," or maybe you're interested in Singing like an American Idol, Glee Cast Member, or Broadway Star, we have it all! For those who dream of becoming an actor on Stage, TV, or Film, we will give you a strong foundation to build on.
Our staff is highly trained and professionally tested in the performing arts world.
We often say, "It's About More Than Dance," and it is. In our classes, we are not just teaching our students the arts, we use the classroom to teach life-lessons that our students will be able to use in their life's journey.
Twenty-five years of Stage and Television experience, ten years of Directing and Choreographing, performing on Broadway in NYC, in CATS, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, ShowBoat, and My Fair Lady, as well as performing in Themeparks, Cruiseships, Touring Productions and so much more, have inspired me to give my students those same type of experiences. Our Year-End Productions and Christmas Holidazzzzzles are seen by hundreds of people each year, many of them from outside our school. We believe our parents and students deserve nothing but the best, and we work very hard to give them the most professional experience possible.

Many of our alumni now have the confidence to pursue a career in the professional performing arts world. They are receiving scholarships to some of the most respected performing arts colleges in the country, and many are now performing professionally on stage in Theatres, Themeparks, Cruiseships, and even Television and Movies.
